The Project Proposal!

Today we had the first group meeting where we received the brief from the clients. In summary, the brief states that they would like a social space that allows the clients to:

• Relax,
• Eat lunch,
  
• Meet friends and
  
• Take a moment to catch their breath during a busy day.

The students have carefully considered the qualities of the space that they would like and have given us the following criteria for textures and colours:

Textures:

• Soft sandy beaches
  

• Silk

• Leather

Colours:

• The calm blue of an open sky on a sunny day

• The green of a fresh apple

• The red of Chinese celebrations

We think that these are interesting requirements and look forward to seeing what we can come up with to fulfil the brief in a way that will surprise and hopefully inspire our clients.

Our Response:

We have 3 manifestos from which we will try to find an approach to designing the social space requested by the clients, the 3 manifestos are:






The key connections between the 3 manifestos are:

• Growth
• Curiosity
• Discovery

These will be interesting elements to incorporate into our forthcoming proposal for the clients.
